Blown away…

When did it become standard practice to replace the gentle-flow-of-air-emitting hand dryers with the discarded engines from Harrier jump jets?

Once upon a time a gentle flow wafted out to soothingly dry the water from the hands. Now the damn contraptions are so powerful one is in danger of being left with bloody stumps akin to poor Lavinia from Shakespeare’s “Titus Andronicus”…

Yesterday’s jet engine in a shopping centre restroom was so powerful the skin on the back of the hands was rippling under the impact of the air. Your hands should not be experiencing 3 Gs as they are being dried. Seriously, someone with frail arthritic hands could be severely injured by using an RAF hand dryer…
