The drugs do work…but it’s best not to stay on them forever…

I have to tell you (even if you’re not paying that much attention) that going from taking 3 tablets each day of certain prescribed medications, down to 2, then 1, then 1/2 a day in the space of a couple of weeks can give you the real whim whams – which is what I am experiencing now.

After even a short spell of a few weeks you can become dependent on legal medications, as surely as if you were doing a class A drug. In common with the likes of heroin, cocaine, etc, it’s a case of weaning oneself off, but not doing it so fast that it undoes all the benefits the ingesting is undone.

Nagging headaches, wobbly moments, touches of nausea – all are making appearances at present.  As the dependency gets less and less the side effects should pass. I knew going in there would be a penalty to be exacted for the use, but that’s the price that had to be paid to hold it together and be in a position of stronger mental and physical health down the road.

Hopefully I’m getting very close to the point where I no longer have to be the supported and can be the supporter as and when required for other lost souls in the world.
