Shakespeare QuotesBe not afeard; the isle is full of noises,
Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears; and sometime voices.

Yamaha YBR125 Red Spirit

My forthcoming new mode of transport has been given a proper name. Instead of simply being known as a “Yamaha YBR-125 with Red Spirit livery” this lovely lady will henceforth answer to: Miranda.

A feminine name of Latin origin, Miranda means “worthy of attention”. And I certainly feel that she is.

Miranda is also the beautiful daughter of Prospero in William Shakespeare’s The Tempest and one of the moons of Uranus is named after her.

So worthy of attention, a place in the Shakespeare canon, and also a heavenly body – yes, Miranda is a fine choice I feel.
